After such a positive response from my article on Sephora, I knew that there was a strong group of make-up lovers out there reading these posts!
And so as a community we need to stick together! There are a lot of products out there and its hard to decide what will fit your needs. There are also a ton of hidden gems and dupes that can save you a ton of money. SO I have created my new favorite series: Make-up review Mondays!
So to kick off the series, I will be reviewing the mascara I purchased when I went to the new Sephora for the first time!
Product: Too Faced-Size Queen Mascara (Pitch Black)-$21
Pros:

Cons:
- MASSIVE APPLICATOR
- Flaking after hours of wear
- Not Waterproof
I had heard really great things about T00 Faced’s “Better Than Sex” mascara and was ready to pick it up in the waterproof formula (I have very watery eyes & I wear contacts), When the adorable packaging of “Size Queen” caught my eye. When I first tested it, I already had my regular three coats of drug store brand mascaras on. It still applied very nicely and I noticed an increase in volume immediately. At a cost of $21 it was almost too good to be true, then I saw it didn’t come in a waterproof formula. Normally this would have turned me off, but I decided to take the risk because it was just such a great price and the pressure to buy was really setting in.
I have now been using this product for about 3 weeks and I am still just as in love with it as I was on the day of purchase. The large brush is so fun and a little overwhelming at first, but the formula is so smooth and does not clump easily. I can usually apply 3 coats without clumping, unless I sneeze mid-stroke (we have all been there). The volume and definition are stunning and just amazing to me.
Sometimes the big brush can be too much because it is so easy to accidentally hit your top lid. The formula lasts practically all day and will only start to flake after hours of wear. I usually do my make-up around 7:30 am and I won’t notice any flaking until about 9:30/10 pm which is pretty good. I still have problems some days with my watery eyes and contacts when it comes to the formula but for the most part it cleans up off the skin well.
Overall I would give this product a 9/10 only because it doesn’t come in a waterproof formula. I highly recommend it and I hope you guys enjoy the product as much as I have!
